On April 9th, Ceva Indonesia organized the annual event called C.H.I.C.K Day which was dedicated to customers from the hatchery, broiler integrator and marketing DOC around Indonesia.
This year, the event was held in Jakarta with more than 150 participants. Ceva Indonesia raised the topic “Smart Poultry Farming” and invited Prof. E (Lenny) van Erp-van der Kooij from HAS University as the guest speaker. Lenny presented about how technology can increase profitability. She also explained about the importance of creating the ideal farm environment for chicken with data management and on-farm data. The topic got good responses from the participants.
Besides Lenny, there was Ayatullah M Natsir (Technical & Marketing Manager Ceva Animal Health Indonesia), Jessica Lee (Asia Veterinary Manager, Ceva Animal Health Asia), Pascal Paulet (Poultry Corporate Marketing Director, Ceva Sante Animale France) and Charlemchai Skulphuek (Vaccination Services and Equipment Manager, Ceva Animal Health Asia) as the internal speakers from Ceva. They presented about the disease update and Ceva solution to the customers.
In line with the preparation of launching Vectormune ND this year, in this event Ceva Indonesia also discussed and presented about new vaccine technology, vector vaccine and also hatchery automation. At the same time, Jessica Lee also emphasized the leadership of Transmune in Indonesia with the refreshment content about the concept of Stop Gumboro Cycle.
Different with previous C.H.I.C.K Day, this year Ceva Indonesia also introduce the Ceva Asia CSR program called C OUR FUTURE. With the tagline “Embrace the Chicken and Eggs to Break the Cycle of Child Stunting, this program has the objective to raise the public awareness of stunting issue in Asia. At the same time, we educate and campaign to increase the consumption of chicken and eggs. The movement got positive feedback from customers.
During the same month, Ceva Indonesia also created an event dedicated for layer farmers called Layer Day.
On April 23rd and 25th, the event was held in two cities, Solo and Jakarta. Collaboration with Hendrix Genetics, the event raised the theme “Pullet Quality: Key Success of Good Layer Performance". The total was around 150 participants in two cities.
Magali Charles (Asian Technical Service, Hendrix Genetics) presented about How to Maximize Productivity through Pullet Management Control. She explained about the factors that can help farmers to maximize the productivity through Lighting and Feeding Management. Besides, Jessica Lee (Asian Veterinary Manager, Ceva Animal Health Asia) and Wintolo (Breeder and Layer Development Manager, Ceva Animal Health Indonesia) explained about Ceva complete offers (products and program) for layer customers.
At the same time, in this event Ceva Indonesia also introduce Vectormune ND Rispen and Cevac Coryza Combo 6 which just got the license from Ministry of Agriculture Republic of Indonesia and soon to be ready in the Indonesia market. Wintolo, in his presentation explained the concept of “C the Future of Layer: Less is More” which emphasize on how Ceva vaccine program can decrease the stress level of pullet by having the less vaccine (new vaccine technology: vaccine recombinant and vector vaccine).
The event got the good respond, it was shown by a fruitful discussion among the participants and speakers.
